1、 Application of fused zirconia
1. High temperature refractory materials
For example, AZS fused bricks, magnesium zirconium bricks, chrome zirconium bricks, etc., adding stabilizers can enhance thermal shock performance and corrosion resistance, and prepare continuous casting materials, sizing nozzles, foam ceramic filters, etc., which are mainly used in glass, steel and other building materials industries;
2. Colorants for ceramic glaze
For example, zirconium praseodymium yellow, vanadium zirconium blue, zircon iron red, etc., the amount of fused zirconia accounts for more than 50% of the amount of color raw materials used;

2、 Advantages of fused zirconia
1. Good color stability
Electromelted zirconia, due to its increased purity, is not easily reactive under high temperature conditions, does not emit gas, is corrosion-resistant, has low solubility in molten glaze, and has stable color.
2. Strong color rendering power
Add less to the glaze.
3. Good miscibility
Different colors of zirconium vanadium blue, zirconium praseodymium yellow, and zirconium iron red can be mixed in any ratio to prepare various rich and colorful mixed colors, further expanding their application range.
4. Pure color
Due to its high purity, it is not affected by the firing atmosphere, and the influence of the base glaze composition is relatively small. It has strong adaptability to glaze materials, high color saturation, and a bright color appearance.
5. Green and environmentally friendly materials
The use of fused zirconium raw materials to synthesize zirconium iron red is environmentally friendly, pollution-free, and pollution-free, providing a reference for the use of environmentally friendly materials in the production process of ceramic pigments.
